This hippo has only taken me a week, and that's really only the evening's but when you count up the hours and the yarn!!!..... Well..... The amount I charged is nowhere near enough. But as it's only a hobby, I really enjoyed making it and getting paid for it as well is an added bonus. :-)

It's been a while! What can I say :) I've resumed my crochet diploma and I'm enjoying every minute of it. I've also finished my Lollo bear. Isn't she beautiful. Please follow the link for the pattern.  You won't be disappointed. I'm now making the happy hippo and I believe there is a frog prince due any day now. It's half term. Yay! So whilst looking after my granddaughter I'm doing the usual housework, ironing etc etc and crocheting like mad.  The weather is glorious so I'm off out for some sun.

I lost my best friend yesterday. she greeted me each morning with a wag of her tail, she followed me around constantly and drove Me nuts at times. but for 17 years she's listened to my tears and my laughter. today I woke up without her. Lizzie, rest in peace my lovely lady. xx
